Cyber Innovation Center Featured in April issue of Modern Steel Construction

2009 SDS/2 Solid Steel Competition Grand Prize Winner Cyber Innovation Center was highlighted in the April 2010 issue of Modern Steel Construction.

The Cyber Innovation Center is the first phase construction project of the National Cyber Research Park. The purpose of this center is to provide assistance to the U.S. Air Force in executing strategies related to cyber intelligence.

Located in Bossier City, Louisiana, and detailed by Cartee-Berry & Associates, LLC, the Cyber Innovation Center features five skewed spoke towers and a rolled roof. It also required a large opening to accommodate the aircraft statue in the center of a massive cantilever section. Cartee-Berry & Associates used SDS/2 to detail the approximately 1,235-ton project.
