Next year’s Hexagon International Conference, HxGN LIVE is coming up fast. The event will be in Las Vegas this year from June 2-5, and is a great annual event for the industry. HxGN LIVE showcases some of the latest trends in the industry, including design, measurement, and visualization technologies.
The conference also gives attendees the chance to discuss ideas and solutions about progressing the industry to create a better and more efficient world.
This Monday, Hexagon is running special deal that will save you big on your registration. As a part of Cyber Monday, you’ll get an extra $150 off on your HxGN LIVE registration, which is a $750 savings over registering on-site the day of the event! FABTECH Expo 2013
FABTECH Expo is North America’s largest metal forming, fabricating, welding and finishing trade event, and it all went down in Chicago this week. Hundreds of exhibitors were at Chicago’s McCormick Place Monday through Thursday this week to show off their products, software, services and much more.
Design Data was at FABTECH all week showing people SDS/2 and SDS/2 Connect and chatting with industry partners, friends, and new acquaintances.
2013 was FABTECH Expo’s biggest year ever with over 40,000 attendees, 1,573 exhibitors, and in a space of 650,000 square feet. In addition to some gangbuster numbers, attendees were also able to attend more expert-led sessions on important manufacturing topics. As a part of FABTECH 2013, a fundraising campaign has been set up to help support the victims of the severe storms that devastated Washington, Illinois and other areas of the state on November 17. Anyone can donate to the fund and several of the show partners have committed to matching a certain amount of donations.

NASCC Registration Opens Next Week
The premier education event in the industry, the North American Steel Construction Conference, is opening up its registration next week. NASCC is the premier education opportunity for structural engineers, steel fabricators, detailers, and erectors.
NASCC is hosted by Design Data partner, the American Institute of Steel Construction every year in a different location throughout the United States and Canada. This year’s conference is in Toronto at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre from March 26 to 28.
Registration for the conference open next Monday, the 18th of November. If you’re planning on attending this year, now is a good time to start booking your flights and renewing your passport if it’s expired. Hotel information will be available on Monday when registration officially opens.
